Double chocolate cookie Eggless recipe- No Maida

These Double chocolate cookies are a chocolate heaven aside from them being chocolate cookies these also have chocolate chunks in them so that you get the pool of melted chocolate in each bite,

I have used large chocolate chips you can always replace them with chopped chocolate chunks.

They have no maida, made with whole wheat flour still they do not alter the taste so much so while making these cookies a bit healthy to binge on. This is an easy double Choco-chip cookie recipe to make with just a handful of ingredients and you can easily make these chocolate chip cookies at home.

These cookies are like cafe style thick, crispy on outside while soft and chewy inside a classic that we look in chocolate chip cookies.

Chilling the cookies:

It is important to chill the double chocolate chip cookie dough in refrigerator before baking I chill them in an air-tight container for 24 hours this helps in developing the flavour as well as prevents from spreading cookies in oven while baking.

If you do not want to chill chocolate chip cookies for that long than I suggest that you do that for a minimum of two hours but trust me if you chill them for 24 hours you will not regret it.


Ingredients: (makes 6 small cookies) 58gm Butter, unsalted 40gm Caster sugar 40gm Brown Sugar 1/2tsp vanilla extract 110gm Whole wheat flour 1/2tsp Baking powder 1/8tsp Baking soda 16gm Cocoa powder Pinch of salt 55gm Dark chocolate chips/chunks 30-40ml Milk Chill for a minimum of two hours before baking for best result chill for at least 24 hours (I chill my cookie dough for 24 hours) before baking. Bake in a pre-heated Oven at 180C for 10-12 minutes.
